Andy has a track record in delivering transport innovation and assessing and optimising their operational, safety and business benefits for operators and users. 

He leads his own company, White Willow, specialising in safely and securely connecting vehicles, infrastructure, roads, and the people and goods that use them encompassing public and private sectors, with vehicle makers, highways authorities and road concessionaires.  

Ben Garratt is Interim Director of Policy and Communications at Logistics UK. He is responsible for strengthening the organisation’s influence through credible, evidence‑based and forward‑looking policy positions and communications activity, ensuring the views and priorities of members and the wider industry are at the heart of decision‑making.

Ben previously served as Deputy Director – Public Affairs at Logistics UK, where he led the Public Affairs team and oversaw engagement across political and regulatory spheres

Mark has 42 years experience in construction materials supply chain and logistics across all modes with international experience in EMEA and Mexico. 

Known for being a champion of rail safety and modal shift Mark is currently an independent consultant working on the Freight Safe Programme for NR and the RFG. He is also an associate of MDS Transmodal and a NED at Logistics Uk.

Prof. Greening is co-Lead of TransiT, a UK research hub exploring digital capabilities, including digital twinning, to support the reduction of transport carbon emissions.

He is also a co-investigator at DARE, the National Hub for Decarbonised, Adaptable and Resilient Transport Infrastructures, which brings together leading universities and industry, government and civic partners to develop pathways to a resilient, net zero transport system.

At Heriot-Watt University’s Edinburgh Business School, he is Director of the Centre for Logistics and Sustainability, which includes the Centre for Sustainable Road Freight and the Centre for Sustainable Cooling.

Stephanie Haszczyn is a Senior Policy Manager at Logistics UK working on decarbonisation policy. Logistics UK is one of the UK’s largest trade bodies, representing over 22,000 members from a variety of transport sectors, including road, rail, maritime and aviation. 

With more than 5 years of experience in sustainability reporting and policy, Stephanie has led projects spanning sustainable finance and stewardship to electrified HGVs, and has worked to educate policymakers on key issues, looking at net-zero ports, the growing demand for depot charging, and feeding into country-level climate change plans. 

Daniel Saunders is the Chief Executive Officer of
L Marks, a global leader in corporate innovation, working with major organisations across the UK, Europe, North America and Asia to identify and implement new technologies and innovative solutions.

Over the past decade, Daniel has designed and delivered award-winning innovation programmes for companies including Lloyd’s of London, DPD, Gymshark and the English Football League, connecting leading corporations with high-growth technology companies from around the world and supporting the adoption and deployment of new products, services and technologies.

Under his leadership, L Marks has become globally recognised as the trusted partner for corporate innovation, delivering more than 130 innovation programmes across multiple sectors. Its global alumni network includes more than 500 startups, 78% of which have secured commercial deployments, with over $9.6 billion raised collectively.

Drawing on his experience working with entrepreneurs, investors and emerging technologies, Daniel is also an active investor and mentor to early-stage companies, supporting founders across sectors including AI, fintech, enterprise technology and sustainability.

Daniel began his career as a software engineer, working on one of the world’s earliest smartphone operating systems, before moving into international trade, innovation and investment. He later served as Chief of Staff for Economic Development at the Israeli Embassy in London, where he helped strengthen UK-Israel trade relations and led major business and innovation initiatives between the two countries.

Today, Daniel works with corporations, governments, investors, and economic development organisations to build innovation ecosystems and accelerate technology adoption, including across logistics, transport and supply chain operations.

A regular speaker on innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership, Daniel has lectured at institutions including the University of Cambridge Judge Business School.

James Hutt is Co-founder of the Institute for Driverless Transport, an independent organisation examining how autonomous vehicles will affect the UK’s economy, workforce and society. The Institute helps businesses, policymakers and researchers understand the opportunities and challenges of deployment, with a focus on productivity, social impact, job displacement and security. James’s work brings these questions into practical discussions about how organisations should prepare, what evidence they need and which decisions they face. For the logistics sector, this means looking beyond vehicle technology to understand how driverless transport could change operating models, workforce needs and the economics of moving goods.

Ilona Kawka MCIEx is a recognised expert in digital trade, customs modernisation, and border innovation. As Digital Borders Practice Lead at the Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade, she advises industry, governments and international agencies on the digital transformation of cross-border trade. 

Ilona has played a central role in the UK’s most significant border transformation programmes and has co-authored numerous publications on border innovation. 

Her expertise spans electronic trade documents, digital trade corridors, single window systems, supply chain data exchange, customs digitalisation, international trade data standards, trusted trade frameworks, and emerging regulatory developments in paperless trade. She regularly contributes to industry consultations, thought leadership initiatives, and strategic projects shaping the future of global trade.  

She sits on national and international committees and working groups shaping trade policy and customs compliance standards, and is a frequent speaker and commentator on the future of digitalised global trade. 

Sam is Chief Revenue Officer at TEG, the UK’s logistics collaboration platform. He focuses on collaboration and sustainable growth for 3PLs operating in highly competitive markets.

Working closely with senior 3PL leaders, Sam has been directly involved in addressing the commercial and operational challenges posed by fragmented capacity, pricing pressure, and settlement risk. He has shaped TEG’s approach to sourcing, pricing, and settling capacity at scale. 

His focus is on improving commercial predictability for 3PLs by connecting secure settlement models with access to a trusted UK-wide network of over 10,000 digitally verified courier and haulage companies.
