Public Affairs Working Group
The Public Affairs Working Group includes members with an interest in parliamentary and government engagement by Logistics UK.
This group helps inform Logistics UK plans for parliamentary events, strategy for activity with the government and parliamentarians across the UK, party conference activity planning and helps inform Logistics UK’s policy making from a public affairs perspective.

Working groups
Innovation Working Group
The Innovation Working Group is comprised of individuals with an interest in technological developments and their impact on the logistics sector. The purpose of this working group is to gain member insight on where new technologies are already in use, which current and future technologies can deliver the most business benefits for the industry and help shape Logistics UK’s engagement on these topics with the government and key stakeholders.

Working groups
Decarbonisation Working Group
The Decarbonisation Working Group discusses environmental and sustainability challenges and ambitions related to the logistics sector to achieve transport decarbonisation.
This group informs Logistics UK’s position on measures proposed by policymakers in local, devolved and UK government, and European and global regulatory agencies for meeting national and international net zero goals and ambitions.

Working groups
Employment and Skills Working Group
The Employment and Skills Working Group is a Working Group focusing on employment and skills policy. Members are welcome from across the logistics sector although the focus of the group is on policies to help address priority shortage occupations such as HGV Drivers. The purpose of this working group is to gain member input to ensure that we are raising the key issues on employment and skills to government.
